Does ToothNote.ai read the panoramic radiograph?
For Practice customers with the feature enabled, ToothNote.ai proposes visible restorative and prior-treatment findings such as crowns, implants, root-canal material, and retained roots. Each is mapped to a tooth with source and confidence shown. The surgeon confirms every finding, and nothing is presented as a diagnosis.
How does the medical clearance get to the physician?
ToothNote.ai produces a one-page PDF on the practice's letterhead. The practice can email it to the physician's office or print and fax it. The physician completes and signs the form, and the practice files the returned copy in the PMS. ToothNote.ai does not transmit faxes or collect e-signatures.
Does ToothNote.ai integrate directly with WinOMS?
Not directly today. Approved notes and letters copy or download cleanly into WinOMS, and letters go by email. Direct integration is entering controlled release for Open Dental first.
Can staff prepare a clearance or outbound referral?
Yes. A team member with write access can prepare a clearance or create an outbound referral. The surgeon reviews and approves the clearance before it goes out.
Does ToothNote.ai handle IV sedation and anesthesia records?
ToothNote.ai documents the consultation, procedure note, and correspondence. Anesthesia records stay in the practice's existing anesthesia workflow and PMS.
